Volumes of pesticides imports to Russia declined

According to the report of the Federal Customs Service, during the ten months of 2021, the import of plant protection products to the Russian market declined by 15% to 90.4 thousand tons, and by 7.8% to $677.7 million in monetary terms.

In October 2021, imports of plant protection products decreased by 12.6% to 5.3 thousand tons, while in monetary terms it increased by 12.6% to $47.1 million.

“The decline in imports of plant protection products is associated with the growth of their production in Russia and the rise in prices for them,” commented the information and analytical service of Fertilizer Daily.
