Belarus reorients complex fertilizer exports
Belarus intends to reorient the export of complex fertilizers to the Russian market due to Western sanctions, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Piotr Parkhomchik said.
“Measures have been taken to reorient the export of complex fertilizers to the Russian market, as well as to launch new brands that are not subject to sectoral restrictive measures,” said Piotr Parkhomchik.
According to his statement, the Gomel Chemical Plant entered the Russian market with its products for the first time.
“In the January-September period of 2022, mineral fertilizers were exported to Russia for $97 million, and this despite the fact that this market is in surplus,” Piotr Parkhomchik noted.
