Officials of the Orenburg region prevented illegal fertilizers import
Employees of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) for the Orenburg region and the Border Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia on the Russian-Kazakhstan section of the state border stopped the illegal import of pesticides and fertilizers from Kyrgyzstan.
During the inspection of the car, pesticides produced in China and fertilizers produced in France were detected, without the accompanying documents (certificates of conformity, certificates of state registration, etc.). Almost all of the products were not registered in the State Catalog of Pesticides and Fertilizers approved for use in Russia.
The vehicle was not designed to carry dangerous goods.
Thus, the requirements of the federal law “On the safe handling of pesticides and fertilizers” were violated. As a result, the guilty person was fined and the import of pesticides and fertilizers was prohibited. The drugs were returned to the sending country.
