EuroChem has implemented modern Advanced Process Control Systems

EuroChem implemented Advanced Process Control Systems at the ammonia production facilities of Novomoskovskiy Azot (Tula region) and Nevinnomyssky Azot (Stavropol region). This system was developed by the ProTech Lab company, which is part of the EuroChem structure, together with design groups of enterprises.

For the first time in Russia, a programmatic maximization of the unit’s load on natural gas was implemented at the ammonia production, taking into account technological limitations.

The system will improve the operational efficiency of enterprises and increase the productivity of units. The expected effect from the introduction is more than 1 thousand tons of additional ammonia output per year at each unit.

As of today, the system has been put into pilot operation. In the future, it’s planned to replicate it to other enterprises and divisions of EuroChem.
