PhosAgro will launch new fertilizer production in Balakovo by 2026
By 2026, at the site in Balakovo (Saratov region), PhosAgro plans to launch the production of over 0.5 million tons of diammonium phosphate and about 1 million tons of NPK fertilizers. In this regard, the financing of the project is increased to 27 billion rubles (almost $355 million).
This approach will allow to produce products for the domestic market. The step by step commissioning of capacities will begin in 2025.
Also in 2023, it’s planned to complete the creation of an ammonium sulfate production facility with a capacity of 360 thousand tons per year in Balakovo and increase the production of feed phosphates to 443 thousand tons per year.
