Ammoni plant postponed the construction of the new production units

The Ammoni plant (city of Mendeleevsk, Tatarstan republic) has extended the period of implementation of the investment project for the construction of the second stage of the new plant. The deadlines have shifted due to the high dependence on imported equipment and technologies. The degree of risk is assessed as medium. Currently, the company is looking for solutions for import substitution.
The second stage of the plant was planned to be built by the end of 2027. It was supposed to produce ammonia, carbamide and methanol with a capacity of 1.2 million tons, 1.4 million tons and 500 thousand tons per year, respectively.
