Russia is the top supplier of fertilizers to India

The CEO of the Federation of Indian Export Organizations, Dr. Ajay Sahai, said that in the 2022-2023 season, Russia became a top supplier of fertilizers to India. Products are sold at competitive prices. Russia is followed by China, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Morocco.

According to the statement of Dr. Ajay Sahai, the export of fertilizers from Russia exceeded $3 billion. The cost of deliveries from Saudi Arabia and China exceeded $2 billion. Oman and Morocco supplied fertilizers worth $1 and $1.5 billion, respectively. Russia mainly supplies phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium fertilizers, carbamide and monoammonium and diammonium phosphates to India.
