Kazakhstan intends to import 236 thousand tons of fertilizers from Russia

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, in 2023, Kazakh farmers will need 236 thousand tons of fertilizers, which will have to be imported from abroad. They need such types of fertilizers that are produced in small quantities or not produced at all in Kazakhstan, namely carbamide, ammonium sulfate, complex fertilizers, and carbamide-ammoniac compound.
Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Yerbol Karashukeyev met in Moscow with the heads of leading Russian agricultural holdings. Among other topics, they discussed the issue of cooperation in the field of trade in fertilizers.
