Petrobras is negotiating with Unigel Participações S.A. to develop fertilizer production

Petrobras has started negotiations with Unigel Participações S.A. to analyze the joint business related to the development of opportunities in the field of fertilizers, green hydrogen and low-carbon projects, in accordance with the revision of the elements of the Petrobras Strategic Plan for 2024-2028, which was announced on June 01, 2023.

Petrobras and Unigel have signed a two-year non-binding confidentiality agreement. Any projects arising from the agreement will have a formal cost and the return assessment, required for future review by internal approval bodies in accordance with company governance, only after the technical review is completed by the interdisciplinary team.
