Uralkali will supply about 3.5 million tons of potassium to China
During the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Uralkali signed agreements with the Chinese companies to supply 3.5 million tons of potassium chloride in the period from 2023 to 2025.
The agreement states that in 2023-2025 the parties intend to purchase and supply Russian potassium chloride to China. Delivery will be carried out through land border crossings by rail in specialized mineral wagons.
From the Russian side, the document was signed by Dmitry Osipov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uralkali. From China – representatives of fertilizer importing companies Zhejiang AMP Group, China National Agricultural Means of Production Group Corporation, Inner Mongolia Tianyue Huijing Industrial Group, Beifeng Agricultural Production Means Group, and Suifenhe Guangcheng Economic and Trade.
It is expected that the volume of supplies of Uralkali fertilizers to each importing company will be from 200 to 300 thousand tons annually.
