PhosAgro used AI to improve the productivity of business processes
During the international industrial exhibition Innoprom 2023, PhosAgro presented a project to improve the productivity of business processes and effective communication with partners and government agencies.
The international industrial exhibition Innoprom has been held in Yekaterinburg since 2010. The main topic of Innoprom 2023 is Sustainable Production: Renewal Strategies. On the business agenda: digital technologies, industrial IT developments, mechanical engineering, and medical equipment. Delegations from 16 foreign countries and companies from 60 regions of Russia took part in the exhibition. The heads of the Governments of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus spoke at the main strategic session.
Over a hundred conferences and plenary sessions took place on the sidelines of Innoprom 2023. Sergey Didenko, Chief Information Officer of Apatit (PhosAgro Group), spoke about PhosAgro’s experience during the “Effective Electronic Business Interaction – How to Achieve Results” session.
“Today, the volume of electronic documents is up to 89.5% of the total volume of correspondence received by the company. We have built a system that, using innovative technologies – elements of artificial intelligence – allows you to automatically distribute documents to financial reporting centers. Such measures made it possible to significantly reduce the time for processing documents and labor costs when working with contractors,” Sergey Didenko noted.
The session participants also discussed PhosAgro’s experience in implementing a system for the automatic processing of incoming claims from the Federal Tax Service of Russia. Before the introduction of the system, it took up to five working days to process a document, today it takes about an hour and a half. In general, the saving of working time of the employees involved in this process amounted to 96.3%.
Besides, company representatives took part in the thematic tracks “New Industrial Technologies” and “Industrial IT”. At the meetings, the experience of the company was presented by Anatoly Dikhanov, Executive Director of the PhosAgro Engineering Center, and Sergey Vinogradov, Director of the Information Technology Directorate. The sessions discussed issues of import substitution of software and hardware. In particular, PhosAgro is the anchor customer and flagship of projects for implementing domestic manufacturing execution systems platforms and industrial control systems. This experience was presented under the auspices of the Industrial Competence Center “Chemistry”.
