EuroChem specialist won silver medal in the professional championship

Ivan Dementyev, head of the relay protection and automation section of the power supply workshop of Novomoskovskiy Azot, took second place in an open professional skills competition in Tobolsk, Russia.

The professional skills championship PetroChem Skills-2023 is organized according to the international WorldSkills methodology with the support of the Agency for the Development of Professions and Skills and takes place in 14 competencies in three cities of Russia – Tyumen, Tobolsk and Nizhnekamsk.

Ivan Dementyev showed a high level of skill in the “Maintenance and repair of relay protection and automation equipment” competency and, in competition with the best specialists from all over the country, took an honorable second place.

This is not Ivan Dementyev’s first success this year. Previously, the Novomoskovskiy Azot’s specialist became the winner of the All-Russian competition “Best protection engineer-2023”, held in St. Petersburg.

A mentoring program is being implemented at EuroChem enterprises. Employees who are experts in their field pass on experience and knowledge to the younger generation of specialists and serve as an example of motivation for professional growth.
