Técnicas Reunidas and IGNIS collaborate on green ammonia projects in Spain
Técnicas Reunidas has entered into an agreement with IGNIS to provide engineering services for the development of up to five green ammonia projects across Spain. This collaboration is part of the IGNIS P2X initiative, backed by KKR, focusing on new energy vectors like green hydrogen and ammonia.
The agreement encompasses all project stages from feasibility studies to execution, aiming for a total investment that may exceed €5 billion. This partnership aligns with Técnicas Reunidas’ decarbonization strategy, “track,” which includes project co-development and low-emission technologies. Under its SALTA strategic program, Técnicas Reunidas continues to drive forward its decarbonization efforts, supported by its extensive experience in low-carbon projects.
