Deere announces leadership reshuffle to advance smart industrial strategy

Deere & Company has announced a series of senior leadership changes, effective November 3, as part of its ongoing Smart Industrial Strategy aimed at delivering more connected machinery and customer-focused solutions.
Deanna Kovar
has been appointed president of the Worldwide Agriculture & Turf Division: Production and Precision Ag, with oversight of Deere’s Americas and Australia markets. She will be responsible for production-scale agriculture, including large tractors, harvesting, and crop care equipment. Kovar previously led the Small Ag & Turf business.
Justin Rose
will succeed her as president of the Worldwide Agriculture & Turf Division: Small Agriculture and Turf, with responsibility for the Europe, Africa, and Asia markets. His portfolio will include equipment and technologies for small-scale agriculture and turf management, ranging from compact tractors to hay, forage, and turf care products. Rose most recently served as president of Lifecycle Solutions, Supply Management, and Customer Success.
Meanwhile, Cory Reed
has been appointed president of that same Lifecycle Solutions and Customer Success division. His remit covers Deere’s aftermarket operations, global supply chain, precision upgrades, and business transformation programs. Reed previously led the company’s Production and Precision Ag division.
John May, chairman and CEO of Deere, said the reshuffle reflects the company’s effort to align leadership with its strategic priorities. “We’re focused on building an experienced, purpose-driven leadership team dedicated to improving our customers’ success,” May noted.
The changes come as Deere continues to pivot toward digital tools, precision agriculture, and integrated customer support to maintain its position in a consolidating global agri-equipment market.
