FoodChain ID and Agmatix join forces on regenerative agriculture certification

FoodChain ID, a U.S.-based provider of sustainability certification and food technology services, has entered a strategic partnership with agtech firm Agmatix to promote the adoption of regenerative farming practices through a mix of certification and artificial intelligence.
The collaboration aims to meet growing demand for transparent, outcome-based approaches to regenerative agriculture by giving food companies both credibility and actionable data.
FoodChain ID’s customers will gain access to Agmatix’s RegenIQ, a proprietary AI-powered model that helps firms evaluate, prioritize, and monitor regenerative practices across their operations. The tool is designed to identify which methods deliver the strongest environmental and economic returns. In turn, Agmatix’s clients will be able to pursue FoodChain ID’s Regenerative Agriculture Certification, an ISO 17065-based program that provides a science-backed framework for sustainable production systems.
“FoodChain ID brings nearly 30 years of experience in sustainability services and our technology background to our partnership with Agmatix,” said Chetan Parmar, senior vice president of technical services for Europe and Asia at FoodChain ID. “We are excited to show the return-on-investment for regenerative systems.”
Agmatix chief executive Ron Baruchi underscored the dual need for verification and guidance. “Certification is essential to building trust in regenerative agriculture, but companies also need data-driven insights to make meaningful change,” he said. “This collaboration bridges both needs.”
The two companies said the partnership would help farmers and food companies worldwide implement regenerative agriculture practices aimed at improving soil health, biodiversity, and climate resilience, while also strengthening long-term business viability.
