Beck’s launches SeedIQ product management platform for farmers

Beck’s, the largest family-owned retail seed company in the United States and the country’s third-largest seed brand, has launched SeedIQ, a digital product management platform designed to help farmers optimize hybrid and variety performance through data-driven recommendations.
The company said SeedIQ is the first platform of its kind in the seed industry, combining artificial intelligence with proprietary agronomic research to deliver field-specific management guidance.
The platform integrates data from Beck’s internal research programs, including Root Reveal, Silk Reveal, Kernel Reveal, Product Characterization Research (PCR), Local Evaluation and Agronomic Research Network (LEARN) plots, Practical Farm Research (PFR), Choice trial data and other performance datasets. The system also draws on input from the company’s agronomy and product teams.
Scott Beck, president of Beck’s, said the goal is to consolidate decades of research and real-world performance data into a single interface that supports product-level decision-making. “Our goal is to give every product the opportunity to perform at its best by helping farmers make confident, informed decisions,” he said.
SeedIQ generates recommendations tailored to individual farm management practices and field conditions. After selecting a crop — corn or soybeans — users answer questions related to relative maturity, location and management approach. The system then produces product recommendations within minutes via web or mobile access.
The platform also provides printable product insight sheets outlining the rationale for product fit, management considerations and potential risks. These reports can be downloaded or shared.
Tom Uthell, a Beck’s dealer in Effingham, Illinois, said the tool consolidates detailed hybrid and variety information that previously required significant time to compile. He said the data can be used to inform placement decisions and management plans aimed at improving yields and returns amid tighter margins.
Beck’s said SeedIQ will integrate with its precision farming platform, FARMserver, beginning in summer 2026 to enable field-by-field recommendations.
Farmers can access SeedIQ through the company’s website and are encouraged to review results with local representatives as part of seasonal planning.
