USDA offers funding for agricultural marketing tours targeting Uzbekistan and Armenia

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service announced three funding opportunities on March 16, 2026, to expand U.S. agricultural exports to Uzbekistan and Armenia through marketing tours for international buyers. Each Notice of Funding Opportunity provides up to $115,000 to support two-week programs in the U.S. designed to showcase American agricultural products and connect overseas buyers with U.S. suppliers.
The agency said the programs will allow eligible organizations to design and host tours that educate foreign importers about the quality and advantages of U.S. agricultural goods while facilitating direct business relationships with American producers. The initiative targets specific sectors and regulatory engagement in the two countries.
The funding opportunities are described in the Notice of Funding Opportunity:
- Uzbekistan – U.S. Distilled Spirits Promotion
- Uzbekistan – U.S. Soy Promotion
- Armenia – Promoting Food Safety Regulations Favorable to U.S. Agricultural Exports
