Organic fertilizer application started in Belarus

The application of organic fertilizers to the soil for spring sowing of crops has started in Belarus: it has already amounted to 7.220 million tons, or 14.8% of the required volume.

At the same time, as of the same date last year, the amount of applied organic fertilizers in Belarus equaled 9.250 million tons.

As for 2019, organic fertilizers have been most extensively applied on the territory of Brest Region – by 22.1% of the required volume; the least, on the territory of Mogilev Region – by 6.07% of the required volume.
