Organic fertilizer application slows down in Belarus

Organic fertilizers in the amount of 10.5 million tons, which is 21.6% of the required volume, have been introduced into agricultural land for spring sowing of next year in Belarus, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus has reported.
With that said, as of the same date last year, 11.1 million tons of organic fertilizers have been applied in Belarus.
As for 2019, organic fertilizers have been most extensively applied on the territory of Brest Region – by 22.1% of the required volume; the least, on the territory of Mogilev Region – by 6.07% of the required volume.
