Apatit concentrate shipments hit record
The Kirovsk Branch of Apatit (part of PhosAgro) has set a new record shipping as many as 575 freight cars of apatite concentrate from apatite-nepheline factories No. 2 and No. 3 to consumers. Typically, 409 cars on average are shipped from them per day.
Moreover, the absolute record of 501 cars, with a total mass of shipped apatite concentrate of 708, 190 tons, was hit by the apatite-nepheline factory No. 3. The similar record volumes were previously achieved there in January 2019, when 470 cars of apatite concentrate were shipped per day.
The Director of the Kirovsk Branch of Apatit, Andrey Abrashitov, noted the new record is the result of well-coordinated efficient work of the operations service, both concentration plants, transport services, contractors and Russian Railways (RZD).
