New greenhouse complex opens in Chechnya
Agro-industrial center YugAgro (Chechen republic) reported on developing a construction project of a 5-hectare greenhouse complex. The company plans to commission the complex before the end of this year.
Germ Khoz became the project’s initiator. The idea of the complex involves the cultivation of vegetables using low-volume hydroponic technology. The technology also has a drip watering system and assimilation lighting. While reaching full capacity, the production volume will be up to 4 thousand tons of tomatoes per year.
The total project’s cost is more than 840 million rubles ($11.68 mln.) 143 million rubles of which are the own funds and about 700 million rubles are borrowed. The experts expect that the investment project will pay off in seven years.
