EuroChem plans to create a new production complex

EuroChem intends to implement the EuroChem Northwest-2 project at the base of Phosphorit enterprise (city of Kingisepp, Leningrad Region). The project contemplates the construction of a new complex for the production of ammonia and carbamide. As the press-service of the government of the Leningrad region reported, the complex’s capacity is estimated at a million tons of ammonia and 1.4 million tons of granular carbamide per year.

Total investments in the EuroChem Northwest-2 project may reach 105 billion rubles (approximately $1.4 billion). The start of the construction is scheduled for the 4th quarter of this year, and the launch of the complex is planned in 2023.

Earlier, EuroChem implemented the EuroChem Northwest project and created an ammonia plant at Phosphorit with a capacity of a million tons per year.
