Oleniy Ruchey develops underground mining
Oleniy Ruchey mine (part of Acron) has completed the first stage of the sinking of the auxiliary shaft at a depth of 526 meters in accordance with the design documentation. The second stage of the project has begun.
Construction of the auxiliary shaft began in 2012. The sinking works started in July 2014, and in spring 2015, the first 100 meters were passed. The facility is designed for the men hoisting, materials and equipment delivering, and also fresh air supplying and water uptaking from an underground mine by a drainage unit.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
