Berezniki Azot plans to double their investments

Azot branch of Uralchem in Berezniki (Perm region) intends to invest 5.5 billion rubles ($74.25 million) in the development of its production, which is 2.5 billion rubles ($33.75 million) more than in 2020, said its Director Andrey Semenyuk.

According to Andrey Semenyuk’s statement, the enterprise annually increases investments in capacity and repairs. In 2018 investments amounted to 2.1 billion rubles ($28.35 million), 2.8 billion rubles ($37.8 million) in 2019, and 3 billion rubles ($40.5 million) in 2020.

In the next three years, with a positive dynamics of prices in the market, Berezniki Azot plans to allocate 9.9 billion rubles ($133.65 million) for the implementation of its projects, of which 4.7 billion rubles ($63.45 million) will be invested in the development of the production of nitrogen fertilizers.
