Ostchem launches a new credit program
Ostchem Retail, the retail department of Ostchem, signed an agreement with Megabank to launch a new credit program for agricultural enterprises in Ukraine. It will allow Ukrainian farmers to receive seasonal loans for purchasing mineral fertilizers of domestic production on preferential terms. The signed agreement stipulates that Ostchem Retail will partially subsidize rates on such loans.
Within the partnership, farmers will receive loans for a period of 2 to 18 months, and loan rates will start from 0.1% per annum in hryvnia and foreign currency.
“Such loan programs are especially relevant now, when fertilizer prices are lower than in the high season, and there are still several months left before the sale of yields and receipt of income,” noted Evgeny Khurylenko, Head of Ostchem Retail.
