Purchases of mineral fertilizers in Chuvashia are gaining momentum

This year, farmers of Chuvashia purchased 21.105 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers, thereby increasing their acquisition by 7.2% compared to the same period in 2022.
Ammonium nitrate prevails in the structure of mineral fertilizers purchased by them – its share is 57.2%, while the share of NPK-fertilizers is 23% and diammonium phosphate – 10%.
In general, for the current year, the demand of agriculture in Chuvashia for mineral fertilizers is 22.740 thousand tons, of which 17.127 thousand tons are for sowing spring crops, the press-service of the regional government reports.
