Greenhouse complex in the Volgograd region will expand its capacity

The greenhouse complex “Ovoshevod” in the Volgograd region is expanding its area to increase the yield of vegetables up to 70 thousand tons per year. This year, the company plans to increase it by 0.9% to 44.3 thousand tons.

“As of today, 32.4 thousand tons of vegetables have been harvested. Of these, 22.3 thousand tons are cucumbers and 10 thousand tons are tomatoes. The plan for the end of the year is 44.3 thousand tons,” said a representative of the greenhouse complex.

In 2020, the vegetable grower completed the construction of a seedling section with an area of 5 hectares. Investments in it amounted to 1 billion rubles (over $16.6 million).
