Kazphosphate will double the output of ammophos

Kazphosphate (part of KAZ Chemicals) launched a new workshop for the production of ammophos. Its current capacity is 500 thousand tons per year, and after the plant is brought to full capacity, Kazphosphate will increase the production of ammophos to 1 million tons per year.
Besides ammophos, Kazphosphate produces yellow phosphorus, phosphoric acid, and sodium tripolyphosphate.
Earlier, Kazphosphate and the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan signed a memorandum to fix prices for ammophos for 2022-2024 for its supply to farmers and agricultural enterprises of the country.
