Uralchem will create a port in the Krasnodar region
Uralchem continues the implementation of the project launched in 2021 to create a seaport in the Krasnodar region, its founder Dmitry Mazepin said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to his statement, the volume of investments in its construction will amount to 50 billion rubles (almost $820 million). Currently, 500 builders are working there.
The port is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2023. It will transship ammonia to sea vessels for its subsequent supply on the global market.
Uralchem is one of the leading producers of mineral fertilizers in Russia.
