A similar trend has been observed throughout the last year. Representatives of the Russian Fertilizer Producers Association explained that such a situation is associated with the low demand for mineral fertilizers in Russian agriculture and the reduction in exports caused by sanctions.

During the January-February period of 2023, 700 thousand tons of fertilizers were produced. This is 12.7% more than last year.
