India increased fertilizer imports from Russia by 3.4 times in 2022

The Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov, said that last year, Russian fertilizer producers supplied 3.4 times more of their products to India than a year earlier. The Indian importers are interested in further increasing the volume of deliveries. Russia mainly exports to India complex, potassium and nitrogen fertilizers.
According to the statement of the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, the country has enough resources to increase supplies. The volume of fertilizer production in Russia is 2.5 times higher than the volume of domestic consumption.
