India wants to invest in fertilizer production in Belarus

Indian businessmen decided to take part in expanding the production of Belarusian nitrogen fertilizers at Grodno Azot. Investments can reach $600 million. Foreign investors are interested in increasing the volume of fertilizer supplies to India.
The implementation of this project will have a positive impact on the development of the international transport corridor “North-South”. Even today, the western branch of the route is used to export mineral fertilizers to India.
According to experts, by 2030 the volume of transportation of mineral fertilizers by containers may increase by 8-9 times.
