Gomel Chemical Plant sent fertilizers to China
As part of the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation, the Gomel Chemical Plant sent to China 60 containers with mineral fertilizers by rail. The total weight of the batch was 1.5 thousand tons. It’s expected that in two weeks the train will cover over 7 thousand kilometers and arrive in the Chinese city of Xianguojiang. If the cargo was delivered by sea, it would take about one and a half months to reach the port of destination.
It’s planned that in the opposite direction, the train will carry imported raw materials, goods and components. Such transportation may become regular, and the logistical operator is considering the creation of a hub in the Gomel region, designed to store empty containers.
