Yara opens access to its digital solutions

During the 4th World Summit on Smart Agriculture, Yara International ASA announced that the company is opening up its AgTech portfolio to third parties with the new YaraFX Insight agricultural API solution. The tool will make recommendations based on Yara’s 100+ years of crop nutrition experience, global field trials, and the experience of over 800 agronomists around the world, which will be available for integration into third-party digital platforms.

YaraFX Insight is an API-based solution that allows farmers around the world to access Yara’s industry-leading crop nutrition knowledge on their platform of choice, offered by Yara partners. Yara has developed a portfolio of agronomic, scientific and data-driven tools, including crop nutrition plans, variable rate nitrogen maps, field analysis tools and biomass monitoring maps.

About five million farmers use Yara’s digital products. These features can now be integrated into the platforms of other leading agricultural technology providers. This improvement will enable new connected farmers to capitalize on leading insights, ultimately making it easier for them to improve nutrient efficiency, yields, soil health and profitability.

Yara presented the YaraFX Insight Ag-API proposal at the 4th World Summit on Smart Agriculture in Berlin, where the company also presented a keynote on how to make the EU’s farm-to-fork strategy a reality.
