Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant received heat exchange equipment from Uralhimmash
Under the contract with the Uralhimmash plant (Ural Plant of Chemical Machine-Building), Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant received a raw nitric-hydrogen mixture heater designed for the AM 70 ammonia unit. This equipment is used for cooling and further heating of the gas purified from carbon dioxide.
For the needs of Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant, a separate division of Uralhimmash in the city of Glazov produced a unique heater, which is fully welded. The weight of the product was about 38 tons.
Uralchem and Uralhimmash plan to further develop cooperation between enterprises. Since 2003, the Ural Plant of Chemical Machine-Building has been manufacturing heat exchangers.
