New director was appointed at Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant

The Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant (KCKK, part of Uralchem) has appointed a new director. Yuri Shulga, previously holding the position of chief engineer at Berezniki Azot, has headed KCKK. Yuri Shulga will focus on maintaining the high quality of the company’s products, environmental protection and industrial safety.

The former director of KCKK, Anatoly Shablinsky, has been holding the position of General Director of Togliattiazot since November 27, 2021.

“Lead by Yuri Shulga, Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant will continue implementing projects to modernize and improve technical and management processes. Besides, Uralchem proceeds to strengthen the social partnership of the branch with the city of Kirovo-Chepetsk and with the region as a whole,” said Dmitry Konyaev, General Director of Uralchem.

Yuri Shulga graduated from the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute with a specialization in the technology of inorganic substances. Since 1993 Yuri Shulga had been working at Perm Mineral Fertilizers, starting as a conversion operator in the ammonia workshop, after which he became a shift supervisor. Later, Yuri Shulga worked as the head of the production department and the chief technologist. Since 2012, he has been the chief engineer of the enterprise. The company has implemented important investment projects under his leadership. Since January 2022, Yuri Shulga has been the chief engineer at Berezniki Azot.
