EuroChem participated in the creation of a specialized laboratory and classrooms
On September 14, the grand opening of modern classrooms and laboratories of the Kvant Center for Children’s Scientific and Engineering Creativity, located in the Azot cultural and business center, took place.
Kvant is the first educational center created as part of a program to support gifted schoolchildren who are passionate about studying natural sciences, mathematics and engineering creativity.
New classrooms and laboratories are equipped with modern and high-tech equipment for a high-quality educational process. Children will be able to work and use all the necessary tools to conduct scientific experiments and create promising research, engineering and IT projects.
For 6 years, students of Novomoskovsk “Kvant” have demonstrated excellent knowledge and high results at subject Olympiads and project competitions both in Russia and abroad. Graduates of the Center annually enter domestic universities on budget places. And this year this figure is 100%.
Training at the Center is free of charge. Based on the results of qualifying tests this year, 98 schoolchildren from grades 5-11 entered Kvant. In total, about 200 people study at the Novomoskovsk center.
The opening of new educational platforms provides an opportunity for city schoolchildren to reveal their potential and develop talents. In addition to the Center for Children’s Scientific, Engineering and Technical Creativity “Kvant” in Novomoskovsk, with the support of EuroChem, specialized EuroChem classes are operating, the federal project “Professionality” is being implemented, and a unique center for supporting gifted children of the Tula region “Constellation” has been created.
