Clariant introduces CLARITY Prime for AI-driven catalyst optimization
The specialty chemicals company Clariant has announced the launch of CLARITY Prime, a digital service designed to improve catalyst operation at syngas plants. Building on the existing cloud-based service portal, CLARITY Prime integrates machine learning to provide catalyst performance projections and health alerts, alongside enhanced technical support.
The service is designed to empower producers of ammonia, methanol, and hydrogen by supplying real-time plant performance data and predictive analytics to facilitate informed decision-making. This allows for the optimization of catalyst operations, tailored to meet specific economic and timeline goals. Indorama, a leading global manufacturer, has become the first to implement CLARITY Prime at its state-of-the-art ammonia production facility in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, underscoring its commitment to digitalization and operational excellence.
CLARITY Prime features an array of innovative tools, including “Catalyst Health Alerting” and “Catalyst Performance Projection Tool,” which utilize algorithms and machine learning to monitor catalyst health and predict performance. This approach not only anticipates potential issues but also identifies opportunities for optimization. The service is available to any plant utilizing Clariant’s catalysts, ensuring broad access to its benefits.
