AVPL and IFFCO partner to deploy drone technology in Indian agriculture

Agriculture drone fly to sprayed fertilizer on the sweet corn fields

Drone technology company AVPL International has partnered with the Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) to launch drone spraying operations over an expansive 5 million acres of farmland. The initiative, announced on Tuesday, will span eight Indian states: Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh.

This collaboration is set to revolutionize the way agricultural products are distributed, potentially increasing crop yields by up to 20% while simultaneously reducing the environmental footprint. The use of drones is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of crop treatment processes, leading to significant improvements in agricultural productivity and sustainability across the targeted regions.

The partnership between AVPL and IFFCO marks a significant step forward in the integration of advanced technology in Indian agriculture, promising to set new standards for farming practices in the country.
