Germains Seed Technology names Helen Fomina as new Managing Director

Germains Seed Technology has appointed Helen Fomina as its new Managing Director, effective September 15, 2025. She succeeds interim leader Mark Frankcom, who guided the company over the past six months and will remain involved during a short transition.
Fomina
has more than 20 years of experience in the agricultural sector, with senior roles spanning seed development, crop science and supply chain management. She spent over eight years as Country and General Manager of Monsanto Ukraine, where she helped establish the company as the market leader in corn seeds. At Bayer Crop Science, she held several leadership positions, most recently as Head of Supply Chain Excellence for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, where she oversaw digital transformation initiatives and operational improvements.
“Helen’s breadth of expertise across the seed and crop science industries, coupled with her vision for digital transformation, makes her an exceptional fit to lead Germains into its next chapter of growth,” said Aga Szkurlat, Business Director Europe at Germains Seed Technology.
In her new role, Fomina will be tasked with steering Germains’ growth strategy and strengthening its collaborations with seed producers, growers and industry partners worldwide.

The company thanked Mark Frankcom for his leadership during the interim period, crediting his guidance with maintaining stability and continuity.
