Bayer introduces EverGol Rise seed treatment in Canada

Bayer Crop Science Canada has launched EverGol Rise, a pulse seed treatment designed to expand disease control and simplify handling for growers ahead of the 2026 season.
The product combines four active ingredients to target seed- and soil-borne pathogens, including Fusarium species, Rhizoctonia solani, and Ascochyta, the company said on December 2. Bayer positions the formulation as an upgrade to its Trilex EverGol treatment, with a single-mix format intended to reduce preparation time during seeding.
Ashley Smith, product manager at Bayer Crop Science, stated that the new formulation provides stronger pathogen control and a more streamlined application process. She noted that the single-package format and deeper colourant were intended to improve ease of use and visual coverage during seed treatment.
According to the company, EverGol Rise is supplied in 9-liter and 27-liter containers and applied at a rate of 100 milliliters per 100 kilograms of seed. The firm stated that more than 90 pre-commercial trials were conducted across Western Canada in 2025, involving agronomists, seed treaters, and growers. Participants reported consistent flow through treatment equipment and reliable seed coverage.
Bryan Bryson, marketing portfolio lead for crop protection in Western Canada, said the combination of broader pathogen control and simplified handling should support farmers during the compressed spring seeding period.
EverGol Rise will be available for purchase for the 2026 growing season.
