BioWorks appoints Jason Miller director of North America sales

BioWorks has appointed Jason Miller as director of sales and distributor relations manager, as the company expands its commercial efforts in the growing market for biological crop inputs.
Miller
will oversee North American sales strategy and distributor partnerships, focusing on aligning biological products with grower production systems.
He joins from Wilbur-Ellis, where he managed a portfolio of biological pesticides, herbicides and plant health products as senior portfolio manager for branded technology and biological solutions. His role included coordinating product launches and working with regulatory, operations and commercial teams.
Miller previously spent more than 15 years at OHP, a supplier of crop protection products for greenhouse and nursery markets, where he held several sales leadership roles, including regional sales manager and interim director of sales.
The appointment reflects broader expansion across the biological crop protection sector, as suppliers invest in commercial capabilities to support rising adoption in specialty crops, greenhouse production and other high-value segments.
BioWorks operates within BioFirst Group, a global supplier of biological pest and disease control and pollination products, with production and distribution subsidiaries in more than 30 countries and exports to over 70 countries.
Biological inputs have been one of the faster-growing segments of the agricultural chemicals market in recent years, driven by tightening regulations on conventional pesticides, resistance management concerns and retailer sustainability requirements.
The company did not disclose financial terms of the appointment.
