Sollum launches SF-INFINITE dynamic LED platform for commercial greenhouses

Sollum Technologies has introduced the SF-INFINITE, a new dynamic LED lighting platform designed for commercial greenhouse operators seeking greater flexibility and long-term cost protection. Announced from Montréal on February 25, the company said the fixture consolidates its product roadmap into a single system intended to evolve with changing crop strategies, energy constraints, and market conditions.
Greenhouse lighting is typically among the most capital-intensive infrastructure investments for growers, often locking operations into fixed capabilities for years. Sollum said the SF-INFINITE is built to address that limitation by offering up to four independently controlled lighting channels per zone, enabling real-time adjustments to spectrum, intensity, and daily light integral (DLI). The fixture connects to the company’s AI-powered SUNaaS cloud platform, allowing growers to tailor crop-specific lighting strategies and manage unlimited zones across facilities.

The system incorporates edge computing and telemetry at the fixture level to maintain operation during connectivity disruptions, while automatic software upgrades through the SUNaaS platform are designed to extend performance without additional hardware investment. According to the company, the platform aims to mitigate technological obsolescence and reduce replacement costs over the installation’s lifetime.
The SF-INFINITE will make its public debut at the Leamington Greenhouse Grower Expo, where the company plans to demonstrate its application for high-wire vegetables and propagation crops. Founded in 2015, Sollum is headquartered in Montréal, Canada with regional offices in the U.S. states of Ontario and Georgia.
