Mitsui Group is a Japanese financial and industrial group, one of the largest in the world. Its formation began at the end of the 19th century in the form of the Mitsui zaibatsu (money clan), which reached its greatest power in the late 1930s but was eliminated after the end of World War II. Since the 1950s, the restoration of the conglomerate in the form of soy shisha (trading company) began. It includes dozens of subsidiaries in various sectors of the economy, as well as joint ventures and partnerships around the world.
