EuroChem launches in Russia new nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizer Croplex

During the Russian 2024-2025 field season, EuroChem rolled out its new NP(S)12-40(10) fertilizer branded as Croplex. Its unique composition is designed to supply essential nutrients throughout the plant’s growth period. This starter nitrogen-phosphorus product, which includes two forms of sulfur, was previously tested on global markets and is now also available to Russian farmers. Croplex’s dual-sulfur formula, combining elemental and sulfate sulfur, offers a prolonged nutrient release, which has sparked considerable interest among local farmers.
Valentin Gazizov, EuroChem’s agrochemical service manager, highlighted the product’s distinctive features, “Croplex is noteworthy for integrating critical nutrients into a single granule. The blend of high levels of water-soluble phosphates and the sustained availability of sulfur sets it apart from similar products, making it particularly effective for pre-sowing applications in winter grains and oilseeds.”
Originally produced at EuroChem’s Lifosa facility in Lithuania, Croplex was initially tailored for North and South American markets. After five years, its effectiveness across various soil and climate conditions has been well documented.
Svetlana Aimaletdinova, head of product line development at EuroChem, explained the strategic expansion into the Russian market, “Given the prevalent issue of low mobile sulfur in Russian soils, we initiated production of Croplex NP(S)12-40(10) at our EuroChem-Belorecheskie Minudobreniya facility to ensure a reliable and effective solution for our farmers.”
