Odessa Port Plant is ramping up supplies

Since the Odessa Port Plant (Ukraine) restarted its technological facilities after 16 months of downtime, it has managed to produce 13.1 thousand tons of ammonia and 122.5 thousand tons of urea. Shipments are being made to the markets of Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, Morocco, Senegal, India and Côte d’Ivoire, as reported by the press office of AgroGazTrading, a company supplying natural gas to the Odessa Port Plant on a give-and-take basis.

The contract provides for the repayment of the company’s debt to Naftogaz of Ukraine. Therefore, AgroGasTrading added $1 per 1 ton of ammonia and $1.5 for urea to the processing cost. This allowed the Odessa Port Plant to start paying Naftogaz of Ukraine in repayment of the unpaid debt.
