AGMK to produce phosphorus fertilizers

The Government of Uzbekistan has adopted Resolution No. 120, relating to the activities of two enterprises that are part of the state company Uzkhimprom.

According to the Resolution, 51% shares of the Ammophos-Maxam enterprise are transferred to the trust management of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AGMK) for five years. 100% of the authorized capital of the Kyzylkum Phosphorite Complex is also contributed to its authorized capital.

The Kyzylkum Phosphorite Complex is engaged in the production and enrichment of phosphorites, and Ammophos-Maxam outputs ammophos, superphosphate, monoammonium phosphate.

AGMK produces copper and zinc, copper pipes.
