Emmerson has not been impacted by coronavirus

The British company Emmerson announced that the coronavirus epidemic has not so far had any significant impact on its potassium project Khemisset (Morocco).

However, Emmerson management has developed an action plan in the event of a worsening situation. In the meantime, its employees for the most part work from home, almost all of their business trips have been stopped, except for the most necessary ones.

The projected resources of the Khemisset project are estimated at 311 million tons of salts with an average potassium oxide content of 10.2%. Emmerson intends to start the extraction of potassium salts in 2022, it is expected to produce potassium chloride as a product of their processing.
