Potash fertilizer production stagnates in Russia

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in the first quarter of 2020, the production of mineral fertilizers in Russia slightly decreased by 0.2% to 6,024 million tons.
The production of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers increased by 3.1% to 2.880 million tons and by 4% to 1.075 million tons respectively. Contrary, the production of potassium fertilizers decreased by 6.3% to 2.069 million tons.
The production of ammonia in January-March this year rose by 9.8% to 5.1 million tons.
