Nitrogen fertilizer production stagnates in Russia
According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in January-August this year, the production of nitrogen fertilizers in Russia increased by 2.3% to 7.5 million tons.
As the agency reports, the production of nitrogen fertilizers in August compared to July fell by 12% to 801 thousand tons. Compared to the level of a year ago, the output of nitrogen fertilizers in August decreased by 2.1%.
PhosAgro, Uralchem and Acron take the leading positions among producers of nitrogen fertilizers in Russia.
